As the name entails, this 16-week powerbuilding program designed by Steve Tripp will build significant strength in the big 4 (bench press, squat, overhead press, and deadlift) while slabbing on muscle through high volume accessory work. If you are looking to build the big 4 and get huge while doing so, then this program is for you.
Training days per week:Â 4-5

- Barbells and Plates
- Dumbbells
- Full Machine Access
- Cables
- Bike or Treadmill
- Sled
- Battle Ropes
- Sling Shot
- Access to some type of cardio equipment

I’m just finishing up the last phase and I can definitely say I have gained strength due to this program. It’s a lot of work at times and it pushes you but in a good way. I really liked focusing on the four main lifts and then having a full body day on the last day. I’m planning on starting this program again in a few months.
